KaOM was established in 2011 with the aim of business and healthcare consultancy. This expanded to extend caring principles through Prevention and Management of Violence & Aggression (PMVA) training. The lead trainer Reuben is a well experienced mental health nurse with over 18 years experience ranging from Medium Secure Units to Care homes as well as community settings.

3 Day full PMVA course
This is for anyone that is a beginner and has had no prior PMVA training of any sort. It is a mandatory requirement for any member of staff that works in a violent/aggressive setting, particularly within a mental health environment (Nurses or Support Workers).
Breakaway training course
This training aims to deal with threatening situations by teaching the delegate the correct procedures for protecting themselves as well as those around them. This is helpful for those that work in a mental health environment. (eg doctors, cleaners and allied staff)
This applies to anyone that has already undertaken the Full 3-5 days PMVA and Breakaway trainings, which expire after a year and need to be renewed. Other well known trainings may be accepted only if valid. Evidence of prior training may be requested.
